May I never forget that miracles do happen, and that prayers do get answered.
Today my youngest dog (Nibbie) came home after missing for over 8 hours, something that has never before happened. We’ve had three dogs before who, after they were missing for 2+ hours, never came home anymore. Today is just totally gratifying and proof that God truly does answer prayers, that miracles DO happen, as long as we do our part. I was beating myself up internally that she was missing, because I never spent enough time with her because I was always working, at school, or doing something at church; and my mind was racing with all those last times I had with her this morning, and how I looked at her for the last time as I walked out the front door, saying ‘bye’ to my dogs as usual, not imagining that it would be the last time I saw her. I was beginning to think that I deserved what was happening, and that I was thankful that God gave her to us for three years, and that she may bring happiness to the other family who finds and adopts her. And after praying, after searching—driving around and asking neighbors and friends, and feeling so discouraged after finding nothing, I get a call from my uncle saying that she has come home…. And it just totally…. I can’t explain it—filled me with so much hope. It was a definite lesson to ALWAYS take a leap of faith. And it has once again reminded and revealed to me of how seriously and how greatly merciful and compassionate God is. He’s shown it to me in the way the neighbors were all so compassionate and helpful, and He’s shown it to me in the way my friends have been so supportive, so encouraging. Seriously. Thank YOU Lord.
It’s so awesome how God just always does things to assure us that everything will REALLY be okay, as long as we continue to trust Him, and do our best to walk with Him in faith… to step FORWARD in faith. Thank YOU Lord; today just totally helped me to see how very NEAR you are. Thank YOU, thank YOU thank YOU.
Before the new year started, my bf & I each cut up 365 little pieces of paper with 365 reasons why we love each other. We folded it & put it into two separate boxes, so that every day for a whole year, we can pick one of each other’s reasons. :)
A few days before we were mad at each other so I decided to make a surprise visit at his house to try to catch him slippin but instead he was sitting at the desk writing all his reasons x) And the night before, his homies were helping him fold & cut them. I thought that was cute lol.

Oyy. I was going to do this for my ex on our anniversary haha… Really.
In Mark chapter five, there was a woman who had been sick for twelve years. The doctors gave her no hope. But she heard that Jesus was passing through her town. Something deep down on the inside was saying, “This is your season. This is your time to get well.” In the natural, when she saw all the people around Him, she thought, “I’ll never get to Him. It’s so crowded and I’m weak.” She almost missed her season. But instead of dwelling on those negative thoughts, instead of looking at her situation, she started reminding herself, “If I can just get to Jesus, I will be whole.” She made the choice to turn her thoughts in the right direction and was empowered to take a leap of faith. She pressed through the crowd until she got just close enough to touch the edge of Jesus’ robe. Instantly, she was made whole.
Jesus said in Mark 5:34, “Daughter, your faith has made you well.” Notice it’s our faith that activates God’s power. We have to press through our thoughts, press through our circumstances, press through the crowd and obstacles until we touch Him.
Today, with every step you take, God is drawing closer to you. He’ll meet your faith with His miraculous power so you can embrace the victory He has waiting for you!
